salad only

ahh fashion. i loves it! ..altho it may not seem that way given the way i dress... however! i loves it indeed! and indeedee i do! ...right. so i'm sure you've all heard the jokes about how models don't eat much. a peice of lettuce, a cherry tomato, and about 9 gallons of water a day. well, just to let you kno, most models are not that thin. damn thin for sure. too thin for damn sure! but not like... holocaust thin if you kno wat i mean. but these models for christian dior... christ! eat something girl! you're supposed to only wear stilletoes not acutally look like them... 10, 13, 19, and 22 look deathly! just looking at them makes me hungry. and no, not for ribs. i think i've seen enough thankyouvery much. oh, and for those of you boys who think they don't care much about fashion? number 19's not wearing a bra. ::wink::

san fran

christ, there are way too many pictures that i like! i guess imma have to organize them into several updates. hopefully i'll finish before thanksgiving! btw, if you want a picture full size, just 'comment' to let me kno which one and i'll send it over. (btw, commenting is super easy, i don't think you even have to be on aim? but watever. comment anyway! i love comments!). so starting from the beginning of summer... san fran (damm i'm having a hard time wit this set too). btw? you'll notice that very few of my faves actually have people in them, lol.

so first is of the sunrise going up to san fran. second is nearly the same time but in a hay field across the road from the sunrise (the background, btw, reminds me much of kennedy hs and their palm trees near the band room). third is of some japanese resturant somewhere in berekly (the city). and fourth is near dusk at treasure island, looking at the bay bridge and the moon over it. i took it on night mode so that's why it's so bright.

piss off

some people are just cannot seem to appreciate anything! (btw, this post is not about reepal) they constantly complain while failing to see that there is lots not to complain about. and when ... er... how to put this clearly? well, let's say they complain about x not happening. and then x happens. they don't say anything good about it! instead they nitpick. "well, x happened but: it didn't count, it won't happen again..." or they find something wrong wit it. sheesh! wait. why am i being coy? just the other night chang said that on this site i like to get personal. well fine; it's jose! wat an unappreciative nincompoop! christ! and btw? you are depressed, depressing and depressive. and you may not get why certain people don't want to be close to you, but i get it. i totally fucking get it. and now it's your turn. just use your damn head.

fires on the plain - shohei ooka

"After all, people live only because they have no reason to die." (229)

"People seem unwilling to admit this principle of chance.  Our spirits are not strong enough to stand the idea of life being a mere succession of chances -- the idea, that is, of infinity.  Each of us in his individual existence, which is contained between the chance of his birth and the chance of his death, identifies those few incidents that have arisen through what he styles his 'will';  and the thing that emerges consistently from this he calls his 'character' or again his 'life'.  Thus we contrive to comfort ourselves;  there is, in fact, no other way for us to think." (233-234)

"Maybe this, too, is nothing but illusion.  Yet I cannot doubt all my feelings.  Recollection is itself a type of experience -- and who can say that I am not alive?  Even though I can believe no one else, I still have faith in myself..." (240)
