as mentioned in a previous post. phil and i went to mammoth a couple weeks ago. it was amazing! i got to see my first real snowfall! i've actually seen it really come down before. but i was in a car, so it wasn't really real, if you kno wat i mean. so this time i was running around like a little kid asking all sorts of questions. i've never really bothered thinking about it, but i guess i thought snowflakes could be really big. like as big as the ones we used to make out of paper back in elementary school. haha, i'm such a dorkass! lol, the snow was freaking awesome. and oh yeah, the rest of the trip was great too, haha.
phil and i left real early on saturday. but the drive wasn't too bad. we got there at 10something. later that afternoon we went snowboarding as it started to snow really hard. :) but it was the perfect kind. light, dry, and fluffy. afterwards wayne and i played around in the snow (snow angels, snowmen, the works) while the others were slaving away trying to put on snowchains. lol, naw, we helped out too. it is hard work tho. putting those things on...
that night different groups did different things (there were 14 of us). but basically we watched gladiator and mean girls, played texas hold'em and craps, karaoked, and just generally had a really good time.the next morning we woke up early to perfect weather and played around in the snow for a couple hours before heading down to some town abot 40 minutes away for some lunch. crazy phil had left some snowballs on the hood of his car overnight, so they were pretty packed. and as we drove down we pelted the other cars in our caravan. for lunch we went toschat's bakery and afterwards we split up and went home. phil and ed got speeding tickets on the way back tho. bah.
