Shanghai Subway Publishes Photo Of Sexily Dressed Woman, Tells Her To Expect Sexual Harassment

this brings up the age of debate of "did she deserve it." and while i think that no person deserves to be raped, robbed, or whatever, you do have do wonder why a scantily dressed woman was walking alone in a shiesty area at night. just because others shouldn't infringe upon your rights doesn't mean that they won't. so you should really be more careful.

personally, i wear semi-sheer tops pretty frequently. tho never sheer bottoms. i do have some standards! in any case, i agree with the sentiment of the comment "Dressing like that, it would be unusual for a lady not be harassed. There can be perverts on the subway and it's hard to get rid of them. Please have self respect, ladies." while you certainly do have the right to wear whatever you want, you have to understand that dressing in a certain way will get others to treat you in a reciprocative manner (which is why we dress so nice for job interviews).

it's not to say that you should therefore only wear clothing that covers you from head to toe, but there's nothing wrong with modesty.
