encounters

we had a plan this winter break, to go to a resturant that neither of us has gone to before. so last night we went to encounters near the lax airport. we've both seen it many times and have wondered about going there. i don't think either of us were expecting much of the food (it was just okay). and the drive there was not so good. i nearly drove into a car (i checked, but didn't see him. we were on the curve, maybe that's why?). and it was hard getting off the freeway (something about a checkpoint and a haz mat team). but eh. i think we had fun. it was pretty, you kno? good view, nice decor, okay prices, disapointing dessert menu. anyway. below are some pictures.
