these pictures are from the lingyin temple in hangzhou (more detailed info here). these pictures are the four heavenly kings. most of the temples in china have huge statues like these here. i'm not sure who they are or anything but they're pretty cool to look at anyway. btw? sometimes these king guys are really scary looking!
and this picture is from the hall of the five hundred arhats. i love this photo, it's one of my best! :)
