30 day email detox
what couldn't you do without? i think for me, it would be recreational reading. i'm usually reading at least one book. ..altho i have gone before wit a few empty weeks of only reading magazines (every couple months i'll catch up on my newweeks). and i'd have a really hard time witout a car. i mean, i guess i could ride my bike to work. but wat about chinese school and dragon boating? oy!

january update

1. started work on our kitchen. full redo actually. only thing remaining the same is the fridge.

2. definitely going to tempe and vancouver wit space dragons. vancouver airfare already booked. rip is going too actually, and of course, not without a bit of drama.

3. my chinese school teacher (cindy yen chen) is running for cerritos city councilperson.

gifting

this has been a pretty good year for xmas gifts. giving and getting that is. i think i did pretty well for the6 secret santa (spent around $50 for over $90 worth of stuff), for reep (not fabulous, but useful and unexpected and kind of cool), and for me boss (passes [for 8 people total!] to the magic castle). and i received some pretty damn awesome stuff as well. yay! the most notable was from reep. :) he got me grey's anatomy season 4 (the one i'm missing) and a co bigalow bath set. which is freaking awesome because i've been wanting the damn body scrub forever! he is the cutest thing! i guess a couple times we've been to the mall i've gone into the bath and body shop to see if the body scrub was on sale. and i guess he remembered. isn't he the cutest thing ever?! aw... ::beam::
