congrats!

oy! so guess wat happened over the weekend? angel got engaged!!! it's true! she went to davis to see kevin and they went to dinner then the arboretum where he handed her a box. angel, smart girl, was trying to read the writing on the box, rather than actually open her gift. so after a couple (i imagine for kevin anyway) excruciating hours later he opens it for her, crouches down, and asks. (the ground was wet from the rain, remember?) isn't it incredible? the ring, btw, is beautiful!! sososo pretty! lots of people lately have gotten really nice rings. altho i do think that thus far, i have liked angel's the best. but anyway. she's the first of my closest girl friends to be engaged. imagine that! but since she and 'kevie' (hehe) are still in school they won't get married earliest until next summer. she finishes school later on this year. he has still a few more to go but she'll be moving to davis to be wit him after her stint in ny is up. anyway. i would say... keep this sorta on the dl, as angel's parents perhaps are not fully excited about it just yet. we'll just let it sink in for a bit shall we? but congrats again to the happy couple!
